Mission Statement

As independent business owners and licensed Realtors®, we adhere to a strict code of ethics and are committed to the pursuit of excellence in all of our endeavors. Our clients deserve the very best we have to offer and we are dedicated to serving them with the honesty, dignity and respect they deserve.

We recognize that our client’s real estate needs, goals, and ideas are important to them and we always value their time as our own. We always strive to provide the highest level of professional and personal service and will always go the “extra mile” to help our clients achieve their goals.

On a more personal note, We believe in working hard and playing hard and we value our friends, family, and community as the most important part of our lives. We believe in giving back to the community and contribute our time and a percentage of our income to a wide range of local, community-based organizations.

Mindy Palmer

Mindy has been a full-time licensed Realtor® since 1998. Mindy’s work ethic, honesty, and her sincere desire to help people has allowed her to excel in the mad, mad world of real estate sales and become one of Missoula’s top real estate agents. That success combined with Mindy’s unique personal style and distinctive advertising has made her one of Missoula’s most referred, recognized, and respected real estate professionals.

 

Steve Palmer

Steve (aka “Mr. Mindy”) has been a full-time licensed Realtor® since he joined Mindy in the real estate business in early 2005. In addition to being a full partner in Mindy’s business, Steve is her assistant, transaction and listing coordinator, webmaster, IT department, advertising department, and support department. In short, Steve does whatever it takes to provide superior service to our clients as well as to allow Mindy perform at her usual level of excellence.

 

Community Activities

Mindy has been delivering Meals on Wheels for Missoula Aging Services since 2001 and currently sits on the board of directors for Preserve Historic Missoula.

Steve provides free technology consulting and web site design and maintenance services to a number of local non-profit organizations.

We contribute 5% of our income to local organizations that serve people in need.

Our Story

Mindy was born in Colorado and grew up there and in Texas, Louisiana, and Montana and studied Journalism and Drama at Louisiana State University and Kilgore College. Steve was born in Missouri and grew up in Venezuela and Puerto Rico and attended Indiana University – Purdue University at Fort Wayne, where he received a BS in Geology with an emphasis in Mathematics.

We have lived in the Missoula area since 1988. We moved here separately that year to attend the University of Montana; Mindy to finish up her undergraduate liberal arts degree and Steve to pursue graduate studies in geology and geophysics. We met shortly after arriving in Missoula and the rest, as they say, is history.

Mindy graduated in 1991 and worked in retail sales and management at a fine leather goods store in downtown Missoula prior to becoming a full-time, licensed Realtor in 1998.

Steve finished up his graduate studies in 1991 and worked as a project manager and database analyst for a number of local GIS application developers as well as a local litigation support firm before joining Mindy in her real estate business in early 2005.
 

About the Missoula Real Estate Guide

The Missoula Real Estate Guide has been online in one form or another since 1996. It started out as an “About Missoula” web site and was basically a vehicle for Steve to teach himself web site design.

When Mindy went into the real estate business in 1998, it was a natural progression to “convert” the site to an advertising vehicle for her business. Since then it has gone through numerous revisions (the current version went live in December, 2011), but through them all we have adhered to our primary goals for this web site. Those goals are as follows:

• To provide our visitors with as much free, no obligation information as we can (either directly or indirectly) about Missoula area real estate and Missoula and Western Montana.
• To advertise our business of real estate sales and service and to provide our visitors with as much information as we can about both ourselves and the company we work for, Prudential Montana Real Estate.
