Not so in Missoula. With a little bit of research it's not hard to find out that Missoula is one of the most expensive places in the country to live, (excluding places like Manhatan, Santa Barbara,...) The average teacher's salary here won't get you much more than a trailer. Housing prices in and around Missoula are primarily inflated by POM (people of money) who move here and without much thought drop 300 to 500k on a house that would literaly cost a half to a third of that in most any other part of country.
